Happy Thanksgiving!
I want to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving. I have so much to be grateful in my life, I am grateful for a Father in Heaven who loves me and knows me, I am grateful to my husband for his patience and understanding. I am grateful for two beautiful babies who fill my heart and life to overfilling. I am grateful for good health, I am grateful for my family and for the love they always show. I am grateful for my friends and the fact that although we are separated by great distances we can still keep in touch. I am grateful for my home, food, and vehicle and that I have what so many others don't. I have so many things to be grateful for and know that I take it for granted so hopefully I can remember to count my many blessings! Thank you all!!

Little Readers
A and E love to read, but each in their own way. E likes to sit with a book and "read" it, turning the pages, talking gibberish and looking very serious.
A prefers to be read to - he will bring over a small stack of books and sit on my lap and make me read the books to him over and over (and over) again. Sometimes E will make her way over and join us.
A&E both love the "Peek-a-boo" books. A loves the choo-choo train book, and another book called "Daddy Cuddles". I spend many evenings sitting on the couch upstairs reading the same books to them over and over again - and I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Big Babies
I have some very cute kids and wanted to share. I cannot believe how big they are getting and they do some of the funniest things. They are sooo different it amazes me! They are finally starting to actually say words and not just gibberish all the time. A loves to help, when Ben came home from work tonight he had barely gotten up the stairs and A was trying to take his shoes off and then went and put them away. E loves to sing and dance, she will walk around singing all day but of course whenever I try to get her on video she gets shy and won't sing anymore. (Her favorite song is Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star). I am sad that they are getting so big so fast but also proud of them for all that they can do. Here's a little video I took of them this morning:

The C-word
My wonderful, fabulous sister-in-law Shauna has been sick for awhile and didn't really know what was wrong, it was just kind of not feeling well. She ended up in the hospital last week and today was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma. I don't know much about it but from what I have read it's not good. I think there is only a 15-20% survival rate and that is after heavy and intense treatment. She doesn't know much yet but she will have to have surgery to try and remove some of it and then have radiation and oral chemo. She will be in for a rough ride but she is definitely a fighter and if anyone can beat it, she will. I ask all my wonderful friends and family to join us in prayers on her behalf that the Father's will in this matter be done. It is hard living so far away and not being able to be there for her but we will offer up all the prayers we can and help her that way!
